BLACKSHEAR GA. REUNIONS

BLACKSHEAR WAS ONE OF THE FIRST REUNIONS FOR MANY WOLFHOUNDS IN THE EARLY PART OF THIS DECADE.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THIS IS?

I think this picture is from Tom Sawyer but there is no name on it. Tom was 2nd platoon Delta 2/27 69/70.

JOHN WARES' FRIENDS PAIN

THE LOSS OF A BUDDY CAN BE THE MOST PAINFUL MOMENT OF A COMBAT VETERANS LIFE. FOR YEARS AFTER IT IS EASY TO PLAY THE BLAME GAME.

Dead while missing

Blackshear, 2nd go round, folks just hangin in the sun.

TOP

Because Top was such a good man and he had done so much for us, Dutch had this plaque made for Roswell. Roswell was so touched he cried as he accepted it. Top talked non-stop and for the first time we saw him at a loss for words.

Dutch and Top Courson

Blackshear was a special time in the early days of the Deltahounds. and the Wolfhounds who attended them. This picture shows Dutch with the only turkey bagged in the years we gathered in Blackshear Ga. Top was an honorary title bestowed on a man who took the Wolfhounds in and treated them all like family. He was sorely missed after dieing in a Tragic air crash. Living the way he always did full tilt.
